Bobby Unser won the 1968 Indy 500 in his Leader Card Eagle. Starting from the front row, he dominated the race, led 127 laps and crossed the finish line ahead of runner-up Dan Gurney to claim his first Indy 500 victory. Bobby had a spectacular Indy 500 career as a three time Indy winner, ’68’ ’75’ & ’81’, winning two pole positions, and was the first driver to qualify at over 190 mph. He won the Indy car national championship in 1968 and 1974 and has been inducted into 5 Motorsport Halls of Fame. An all round race driver, he won 35 Indy Car races and 13 Pikes Peak Championship races, set a land speed record in 1992 at the Bonneville Salt Flats, and raced in NASCAR and F1.
