The Fighting Irishmen takes a nostalgic look back through pugilistic history in the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries. From the beginning of the bare-knuckle era of Dan Donnelly, John L. Sullivan, and Jake Kilrain to today’s epic trilogy of Gatti vs. Ward, the exhibit features “Gentleman ” Jim Corbett, legends of the “Roaring ’20s’ including Jack Dempsey, Gene Tunney, Mickey Walker and the “Cinderella Man”, James J. Braddock. The print also features many great Irish born champions including Barry McGuigan, Rinty Monaghan, Jimmy McLarnin, Wayne McCullough, and Steve Collins. This Fine Art Print consists of 47 fighters who have all played an important role in Irish ring history.
