Erhaab is an American-bred and British-trained thoroughbred racehorse sired by Chief’s Crown. He was born in 1991 in the United States and was trained in Great Britain. His most celebrated win was the Epsom Derby in 1994, where his turn of foot caught and beat Kings Theatre, and created one of the finest finishes at the Derby. He is remembered on the track for his surge of speed and as a winning favourite in the Derby who snatched victory at the line.

Owned by Sheik H Al-Maktoum, trained by John Dunlop and ridden by Willie Carson in the 1994 Derby
