In the year 2000 at the age of 48, Joey rode to his 24th TT race win on the Vimto Honda SP1 in the Formula One TT. He went on to win the Lightweight 250 TT (Honda RS250) and Ultra Lightweight 125 TT (Honda RS125), raising his total number of TT race victories to 26.
