The MZ 250 Twin was raced with both air and water cooled versions of it’s 250cc two-stroke engine, famously developed by German engineer Walter Kaaden. The MZ 250 Twin achieved varying degrees of success and was campaigned by some notable riders including Mike Hailwood (pictured) who rode his MZ to victory in the 1963 East German 250cc Grand Prix!
