Valentino Rossi won the 2002 Moto G.P. series on a Honda, with four rounds to spare. This twenty three year old Italian superstar is already a multiple World Champion, having won the 2001 500 cc Championship and having previously won the 250 cc and 125 cc Championships. The 2003 Championship was another great series, with Colin Edwards and Troy Bayliss coming into the Moto G.P. Championship from World Superbikes to challenge the all-conquering “Doctor”
