An Aermacchi 350 Single was the first ever 350cc single cylinder machine to complete a 100mph lap of the Isle of Man TT mountain circuit. The record was set by Richard Swallow during the 1998 Manx Grand Prix, beating the previous record of 99.99mph, set by Alan Barnett in 1970 Junior TT on another Aermacchi 350 Single!
