Aboard his Maserati 250F, the great Argentinian Juan-Manuel Fangio won the 1957 German GP at the Nürburgring.
Following an early pit stop, Fangio chased and passed the Ferraris of Hawthorn and Collins to score a 24th
GP win and secure his fifth World Championship title. It was his last Grand Prix.
