West Country artist Caroline Cook specialises in equestrian art and other animal portraits. Caroline has been painting horses and other animals since she was old enough to hold a paint brush. Passionate about horses since she was a young girl, she has had her own horses and dogs all her life. She paints the subjects she loves – horses, dogs, racing, animals, wildlife and the countryside.

Self taught her paintings capture mood light and motion whilst retaining accuracy and attention to detail.

For the past twelve years Caroline has developed an extensive range of limited and open edition equestrian art prints and greeting cards. Her horse paintings and animal portraits have featured on many Christmas cards, ceramics, jewelllery, gifts and sewing gifts and if you love horses you”ve probably seen one of her designs.

She has exhibited her equestrian art and horse paintings at leading equestrian venues and shows with her mobile exhibition including the National Hunt Festival at Cheltenham, Badminton Horse Trials and the RIHS at Hickstead.

She works mainly to commission and has recently finished a series of paintings for the Prince Torki Saud and Old Lodge Stud.
