WATTS, Nicholas

Nicholas Watts was born in 1947 near Brands Hatch, where his father regularly took him from an early age. This indoctrination clearly had a profound effect on the young Watts, as he was soon to be channelling his artistic flair into his first ever car commission, a Bugatti Type 37A. He was just 16 years old.

Nick’s real passion for painting cars however was really ignited when he joined the RAF, during which time he was fortunate enough to experience many great races including his favourite, the Targa Florio
