The Brazilian Ayrton Senna won his first Grand Prix in a rain-soaked Portuguese Grand Prix at Estoril in 1985. He is seen here in the John Player Special Lotus entering the first corner during a race which he led from start to finish. It was the first of 41 Grand Prix wins and 3 World Championships and a place among the greatest of all Grand Prix drivers
