This lithographic limited edition print shows Jenson Button winning the 2009 Monaco Grand Prix. Driving for the Brawn GP team Jenson dominated the first half of the season winning six of the opening seven races of the campaign. This early season form gave Jenson a significant lead in the Drivers Championship which was ultimately too much for his rivals to overturn.
The 2009 season was not only a memorable one for Jenson Button but also for his team Brawn GP. In what later transpired to be their only season as an independent team in Formula One Brawn GP created history by winning both the Drivers and Constructors Championships at the first attempt. Following a takeover by Mercedes-Benz in November 2009 Brawn GP will be rebranded as Mercedes Grand Prix for the 2010 season.
This release is the only limited edition art print Jenson Button has signed from his Championship winning season.
This entire edition was countersigned by Jenson Button on Wednesday 18th November 2009, the day that his departure from Brawn GP to McLaren was announced.
