This was the most memorable finish to an F1 season in the history of the sport. 2021 saw a most contentious battle between Max Verstappen, the young gun fighting with the 7 time world champion Lewis Hamilton for the coveted title. Every race was a duel to the finish with the season coming down to the last race in Abu Dhabi with both contenders equal on points. The season was going to the wire. As fate would have it, the race came down to a contraversial last lap shootout with Max taking the lead with half lap to go and ultimately winning the world championship for the first time with a daring charge to the inside to take the lead just a few corners from the finish line. The most exciting finish in racing history!
