Peter Munro still lives in the Highlands of Scotland where he gains much of his inspiration from the magnificent wildlife and countryside around him. Born in the Highlands in 1954 he completed an honours degree at the Chelsea School of Art but only took up painting a full-time career in 1987. He concentrated initially upon wildlife work and later upon landscapes and, to an increasing extent, the beautiful golf courses of the Unietd Kingdom and Eire with which he has made his name.
